Facilitating Innovative Research and Academic Programming in Israel
Established as a Public Benefit Company in 2018, Harvard Global Research Support Centre Israel Ltd facilitates and advances Harvard University’s research, teaching, and academic programming in Israel. Our entity provides University affiliates with the infrastructure and resources they need to conduct a wide range of innovative and impactful activities in the region.
Permitted activities include:
- Facilitating research on, but not limited to, cultural, economic, educational, historical, legal, political, social, scientific, and technological interests related to Israel and the region
- Promoting and advancing the educational and teaching activities and of Harvard University in Israel
- Hosting seminars, conferences, workshops, and programming for the public benefit of Israel and for faculties, students, scholars, and alumni from Harvard and other institutions
- Advancing and preserving Israeli culture and customs through the exposure of students and scholars from Harvard University and other institutions
- Providing scholarships, stipends, and financial assistance to students in all fields relating to Israel
- Developing and strengthening relationships with academic and business leaders in Israel and the region
