Pankaj is an accounting and tax professional with more than 20 years of experience in the fields of tax, accounting, finance, and operations.
At Harvard Global, Pankaj is responsible for the financial and operational processes for the two entities in India and for managing compliance with local regulations and Harvard Global policies. Pankaj also serves as Harvard Global’s local connector, advisor, and compliance officer to the Harvard Schools, programs, and entity governance bodies throughout India. This includes developing, documenting, and supporting Harvard Global processes directly with Schools and programs, supporting questions from Schools and Central Administration offices regarding tax, finance, and regulatory matters, and working with Harvard Global directors and officers on general governance matters.
Prior to joining Harvard Global, Pankaj was a senior tax professional with Ernst & Young LLP, where he specialized in corporate tax, including international tax matters, accounting, and finance for multinational companies.
Pankaj holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce (majoring in advanced accounting) from Kolkata University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Cost & Works Accountant. Pankaj can converse in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, and Bengali. Outside of work, Pankaj enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling.
